United Airlines Comes to the Aid of Ticket Holders
Customers traveling to, from or through the following airports are permitted to make voluntary changes to their plans within the parameters provided.
Travel dates and affected cities
Original ticketed travel dates: May 24 – June 2, 2017
Birmingham, England (BHX)
Glasgow, Scotland (GLA)
London, England (LHR)
Manchester, England (MAN)
The change fee and any difference in fare will be waived for new flights departing on or before June 2, 2017, as long as travel is rescheduled in the same cabin (any fare class) and between the same cities as originally ticketed.
For wholly rescheduled travel departing after June 30, 2017, or for a change in departure or destination city, the change fee will be waived, but a difference in fare may apply. Rescheduled travel must be completed within one year from the date when the ticket was issued.
- Travel agents may self-refund tickets under the following conditions:
- Original flight is canceled
Original flight is delayed and is estimated to arrive at the final destination more than 2 hours
after originally scheduled arrival time
