Beginning March 1 Delta will be offering guests on its longest domestic flights, including transcontinental routes between New York’s JFK and Los Angeles/San Franciso, complimentary meals. This will make Delta the only U.S. carrier to be offering free meals from nose to tail on select coast-to-coast routes.
The meals will be offered in the main cabin on flights between JFK and LAX/SFO. On April 24, the complimentary meals will expand to 10 other major domestic routes from Seattle, New York, Boston and Washington D.C. including BOS-SFO, BOS-LAX, BOS-SEA, DCA-LAX, JFK-PDX, JFK-SAN, JFK-SEA, SEA-FLL, SEA-MCO And SEA-RDU.
Delta’s multi-million dollar upgrades also include upgraded main cabin snacks, enhanced blankets, refreshed flight fuel food for purchase options and free in-flight entertainment. Main cabin guests on long haul international flights are may enjoy complimentary beer, wine, spirit and sleep kits.
Delta’s is also improving their food menu options with items such as honey maple breakfast sandwich, Luvo breakfast medley, mesquite-smoked turkey combo, Luvo Mediterranean whole grain veggie wrap and cheese plate. Customers will also be offered a breakfast bar during the pre-arrival beverage service.
